Simple Gin + Lemon Cocktail

November 25, 2014 / by Liz

Though I mainly drink red wine, sometimes it nice to have something different… which, usually for me, is gin. I used to drink it with only ice and soda water, but lately I’ve been spicing things up a bit! Here’s the recipe for my newest gin cocktail – it’s so yummy.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 lemon, very thinly sliced
splash of lemon juice
1 sugar cube
lots of ice
2 ounces gin
soda water

DIRECTIONS

Prepare the lemon slices, and add them along with the juice, sugar cube, and ice to a glass. Pour in the gin, and top up with soda water. Give it a quick stir, add a straw, and you’re good to go.

Really simple, and all those lemons make it look so pretty (and tasty).
