Chocolate Hazelnut Milk

Yield: ~ 3 cups

Chocolate Hazelnut Milk

  • 160 g hazelnuts
  • 750 mL water, plus more for soaking
  • 50 g honey
  • 20 g cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract

  • Add the hazelnuts to a jug, cover with a couple of cups of water, and leave to soak overnight.
  • Strain the nuts, and rinse well. Add the nuts and 750 mL water to a blender, and blend on high speed for a couple minutes until everything is smooth.
  • Add the honey, cocoa powder, and vanilla, and blend for a few seconds more to combine.
  • Strain the milk though a piece of cheesecloth or mesh bag, and discard the remaining nut pulp.
  • Store in the fridge, and consume within a few days.
