See ya, 2016!

January 5, 2017 / by Liz

And just like that, another year has gone by. 2016 was our second full calendar year in the beautiful city of light, and with our days in Paris numbered, I’ve been thinking a lot about the amazing adventure we’ve had here. We’ve met some incredible people and developed friendships that I know will last a lifetime… we’ve traveled and ate and drank a little too well… we’ve pushed ourselves way outside our comfort zones and learned a ton in the process, and I’m just so, so happy we made the decision to pick up and move to Paris nearly two-and-a-half years ago!

However, while I know we’ll be sad to officially say goodbye to Paris in just a few short weeks, we’re also really excited to move home home, where we’ll be close to family, have some fun renovations planned for our house, and will hopefully bring the start of a new business venture for me!

And after taking the last month off, I’m also looking forward to getting back into a more regular blogging routine in 2017! Cheers to a New Year!
