Cream Cheese Icing

Yield: ~4 cups

Cream Cheese Icing

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ~4 cups icing sugar

Instructions

  • Beat cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Add icing sugar until desired consistency is reached.
  • Great for piping or spreading.
  • * This icing was used with these chocolate amaretto cupcakes.
