Chocolate Amaretto Cupcakes

Chocolate Amaretto Cupcakes

Yield: ~18 cupcakes


  • 2 cups flour
  • ¾ cups cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk, room temperature
  • ½ cup amaretto


  • Preheat oven to 350F. Combine all dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, sugar, soda, powder) in a medium bowl, and whisk together.
  • Add all wet ingredients (eggs, oil, vanilla, milk, amaretto) to the dry ingredients and mix on low until combined.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
