Thanks so much for getting in touch – I love hearing from people :) And congratulations on your upcoming wedding, Paris is a lovely place for a honeymoon!
If you like food, Paris is one of the most overwhelming cities… so much good food to choose from!! If I had to pick, my favourite restaurants are probably:
* La Mangerie {7 rue de Jarente, 4th} – awesome tapas place, and they greet you with house-made aperitif when you arrive
* Terroir Parisien {28 place de la Bourse, 2nd OR 20 rue Saint-Victor, 5th} – Amazing french food, on the fancier side
* La Triangle {13 rue Jacques Louvel Tessier, 10th} – great menu that changes all the time, and microbrewery with delicious beers – plus, one of the owners is Canadian :)
* Chez Tantine {51 rue Laugier, 17th} – a great brunch spot, but a little out of the way
* La Caféotheque {50-52 rue de l’Hôtel de Ville, 4th} – more of a coffee house than a restaurant, but great if you really need a good cup of coffee (which can be hard to find!)
* Les Enfants Perdus {9 rue des Récollets, 10th} – I’ve only been here for brunch (which is awesome), but I’ve heard it’s great for supper as well
* Sawan Bistro Thaï {35 rue de Faidherbe, 11th} – Casual spot for great thai food, with cheap beer (also hard to find!)
* Frenchie {5-6 rue du Nil, 2nd} – Super good food, set menu, but a little on the pricier side and can be hard to get a reservation
* Ellsworth {34 rue de Richelieu, 1st} – Opened not too long ago, owned by the same people that own Verjus, but I actually like the food at Ellsworth better, and it’s a little more casual

Also, ‘Paris by Mouth’ (www.parisbymouth.com) is a great food resource (in English!)

Enjoy your time in Paris – let me know how it goes! :)
xx Liz

I am heading to Paris in Septemeber with my soon to be hubby for our honeymoon. I looked up this restaurant that you suggested and it is looks like something we would love! Do you have any other suggestions? We are only in Paris 3 days on our European Honeymoon so I’d like to have reataurants choosen ahead of time to maximize our time.
